Automotive General Manager – Western MA Area Dealership

We are a Western MA Area Dealership looking for an experienced Automotive General Manager to join our dealership. Previous dealership General Manager experience is PREFERRED. Individuals with several years of GSM experience are also strongly encouraged to apply. We are offering a competitive base salary plus profit share and a strong benefits package. There is also an opportunity for a buy-in or sweat equity partnership!

The ideal candidate must be an ENERGETIC, disciplined, leader! A proven track record with impeccable references and an outstanding CSI record are also required. This is a growth opportunity for an experienced General Manager to further their career within a rapidly growing dealership.

Job Duties:

· Hire all management positions, complete performance evaluations and develop short and long-term goals for each department manager.

· Hold staff accountable for all Sales, Follow-up, Customer Satisfaction, and Training processes.

· Effectively communicate with the comptroller/office manager to assure accurate forecasting and expense awareness.

· Monitor daily operations, make changes where necessary.

· Be accountable for enforcement of policies and controls.

· Maintain open dialog with corporate ops to assure alignment with priorities.

· Oversee the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete, accurate and submitted on time to the management/dealership owners.

· Coordinate frequently with the business/administrative office to ensure efficient workflows and accuracy.

· Maintain solid relationships with lending institutions and manufacturers.

· Oversee the hiring of staff.

· Build positive employee attitudes and morale.

· Create cost-effective advertising mix in coordination with corporate marketing strategy.

Requirements

· Several Years Top Performing GM Experience Preferred

· A Minimum of 5 Years GSM Experience Required

· Proven record with Customer Care Excellence

· Exceptional Leadership Skills

· Working Knowledge of ALL Dealership Departments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
