Responsibilities
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- Efficiently manage and lead the service department to ensure profitability through productive staffing, customer retention, and cost controls
- Set and achieve department goals and objectives
- Analyze monthly sales, gross, expenses, and other performance metrics to maintain profit goals
- Maintain and enhance team knowledge of all required training
- Uphold dealership processes including write up, dispatch, multi-point inspection, and active delivery
- Deliver exceptional customer service in person, via email, or phone
- Address and resolve client complaints and concerns promptly
- Achieve CSI, Hrs/RO, and ELR objectives
- Ensure a safe working environment for all staff
- Maintain shop special tools and equipment, returning them upon job completion
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and undamaged
- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Willingness to learn new technology, repairs, and service procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
