Automotive Controller

Key Responsibilities:

The Automotive Controller will be responsible to manage the financial activities of the dealership and ensure that financial goals are met. This person will be responsible to close out the month, maintain accurate financial records, analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, and provide financial guidance to management.

• They must also excel in leadership, communication, delegation, training, and accountability with their accounting staff. Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, they will closely collaborate with the General Manager.
• The Controller is also responsible for the business office's well-being, overseeing profitability, expense analysis, accounting procedures, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of dealership accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in financial analysis and reporting
• CDK experience is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of prior Automotive Controller experience within a new car Dealership is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with organizational principles, planning, records management, and general administration
• Dependable, adaptable, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Valid CA Driver's License

Relocation:

Candidates willing to relocate will be considered for this role. They must have 5 years prior experience as an Automotive Controller in a new car dealership in the United States.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10,000.00 - $13,000.00 per month
