Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental family. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. As an Associate Dentist, you will work closely with our team to deliver comprehensive and therapeutic dental services to ensure the oral health and well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Perform patient assessments, including oral examinations, medical history reviews, and dental x-rays.
- Diagnose and treat various dental conditions and diseases.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs.
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide preventive care instructions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless treatment experience.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation of patient visits and treatments.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license in good standing.
- Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Knowledge of medical coding, medical terminology, and dental office systems.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required.
- Focus on Endodontics a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis
