About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Accounting to spearhead its financial operations and contribute to the organization's growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the accounting, tax, and treasury functions, partnering with various business units to enhance processes, systems, and controls, and ensuring the efficiency of core accounting activities. This role demands a strong team leader with a meticulous attention to detail, a self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, rapidly expanding business, and is dedicated to leading and learning to support the company's evolution.Key responsibilities for the VP of Accounting include overseeing all corporate accounting functions, managing the full spectrum of financial close activities, preparing financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, and driving the team through financial statement audits. The ideal candidate will have a CPA with over 15 years of experience, including a minimum of 10 years in-house, and a proven track record of leading successful teams and managing financial systems in a SaaS environment. Experience with custom billing systems, ASC 606, and a background in an IPO process are highly valued. The role also requires the ability to work cross-functionally, excellent communication skills, and a strong analytical aptitude, with a preference for candidates who have led the accounting function for a company with over $200M in annual revenues.
