Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC/ Customs House Broker, with locations in 24 countries and over 3100 employees strong, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to cover all aspects of Air Export Operations, for its Jersey City, NJ office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating shipments with Shippers and Receivers
• Communicate with customers, staff and vendors
• Correspond with overseas agents and clients
• Working with airlines/trucking companies to obtain quotations and handle the movement of freight
• Preparing quotations for clients and overseas offices/ agents
• Issuing documentation (ie. AWBs, C.O.s, etc.)
• Handling the files from A to Z
• Learning and applying U.S. Government regulations (ie. AES submissions)
• Knowledge of Air Import operations a plus.

Job Requirements
The candidate must :

• 2-5 years experience in handling Air Export shipments preferred
• Be able to work independently, multi-task, be a team player and work in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines daily
• Be able to work independently, multi-task, be a team player and work in a fast paced environment
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Experience with the handling of hazardous materials a plus
• IATA DG Certification a plus
• TSA training Certification a plus
