A LTC facility in The North East, Philadelphia is seeking a FT activities director to join their team.
Qualifications:
- CTRS (Certification therapeutic recreation specialist)/ Activities Director Certification
- 1 year of experience as a director of activities in LTC is preferred
- Demonstrates the appropriate skills necessary to care for the needs of the residents.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions.
- Upbeat energetic personality, creativity
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in a way that is aligned with the current federal, state, and local regulations.
- Facilitate group activities.
- Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA and Federal Regs.
- Encourage activity involvement from residence and chart attendance.
