Confidential is Hiring an Academic Advisor Near North Andover, MA
Our client, at a college headquartered in the Merrimack Valley, is looking to add an Academic Advisor to their team for a 6 month contract role. They are looking for this candidate to provide student-centered guidance, curriculum planning, academic advising, and management of timelines and strategies for at-risk students. Looking for someone with experience within the higher education industry. If you're interested, please reach out!
Responsibilities include:- Serve as a liaison to Program Directors for the Office of Admission helping students with in-depth questions
- Oversee academic advising and registration for graduate students within the School of Science &
- Engineering working with Program Directors and Meteor Coaches.
- Serve as a secondary academic advisor and coach to all on ground graduate students.
- Assist with the training, mentoring and oversight of graduate student research fellows.
- Assist students with operational processes including: course registration, withdrawal, change of major, certificates, override request, etc.
- Maintain student records in accordance with existing policies, procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:

MUST HAVE Master’s Degree

Prior experience working with students or as a career coach
