We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Firm working in the area of Personal Injury. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 5 years of experience working on the Plaintiff side, having experience with case management, medical records, filings, and client contact.

The job responsibilities will include:

• All aspects of maintaining personal injury cases
• Will handle pre-lit and litigation
• Court filings
• Obtain medical records
• Manage calendars in Microsoft Outlook
• Heavy phone communication with clients, adversaries and courts
• Open mail and read/organize
• Track deadline dates
• Setup new clients and perform conflict checks
• Filing
• Prepare files for meetings and court
• Keep calendar regarding follow-ups for adversary or court letters which warrant a response
• Typing of letters
• Dictation

Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Perfect Law a plus
• Spanish speaking a plus
• Extremely organized
• Detail oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
