Registered Nurse, Home Health

Newington, CT

Currently seeking a full time and permanent Registered Nurse, Home Health to treat in the Hartford, CT Area for a well established, non-profit and medicare certified agency. Branch is apart of a larger, not for profit system that is extremely financially stable and well respected. Plenty of one on one patient time with autonomy outside of the 4 walls of a facility!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM with roughly a once per month weekend rotation

Benefits and Compensation for the Registered Nurse, Home Health:

  • Highly competitive salary ranging from approximately $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year (depending on experience and qualifications) plus additional per diem rates for any overtime visits completed (if desired)!
  • Additional compensation offered for any on-call rotations ranging from $225 - $250 per shift
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision plans for employee and their families with extremely low out of pocket contribution, mileage reimbursement at .58 cents/mile
  • 403b plan with 6% company paid match, over four weeks of paid time off, tuition assistance, short and long term disability and more!

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse, Home Health:

  • Case manage and conduct visits to adult/geriatric medicare patients living in the Hatford, CT Area
  • Complete a total of 30 points per week (2 for SOC/ROC, 1.25 for recert, 1 for visits)

Requirements for the Registered Nurse, Home Health:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous geriatric clinical experience is required (comprehensive 4 week training provided for those without medicare certified home health experience)
  • Previous wound care experience a huge plus
