Highly regarded Labor & Employment team of international law firm has an opening for a smart and dynamic employment lawyer. An ideal candidate for this mid-level associate opportunity, located in the firm’s Seattle office, will have 4 years of recent employment law experience in a law firm environment, including in the following areas:

• Counseling clients on strategies for responding to or preventing workplace disputes and litigation;
• ·Reviewing and preparing employment policies and manuals, as well as employment and separation agreements;
• Providing day-to-day advice as needed regarding hiring, termination, discipline, harassment, discrimination, wage & hour and related matters;
• Advising clients on labor and employment issues applicable to potential mergers & acquisitions or other business transactions; and
• At least two years of employment litigation experience.

Candidates for this position will have a strong academic background, including a JD from an ABA-approved (and preferably Top Tier) law school, as well as a stable work history at established law firms known for the high quality of their work.

Traditional labor relations experience is a plus, but not a requirement for consideration. Imaginative and entrepreneurial practice outlook is highly desired, as is the ability to both mentor others and be mentored by more senior attorneys.

Pay: $245,000.00 - $330,000.00 per year
