Coneybeare is Hiring a Machine Operator (2nd Shift) Near Torrance, CA
- Operate CNC drills and drill presses.
- Checks lubricating fluids periodically and performs preventative maintenance on all equipment operated, as instructed
- Other machinery includes milling machines; horizontal boring mills; horizontal lathes.
- Work with oversized metal parts and materials
- Sets up raw, semi-finished, or used material onto the chuck/machine
- Learns to perform internal quality control of machining procedures
- Sets up and performs jobs based on shop practices and procedures. Removes shavings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years Machining (CNC).
- Experience with Fanuc controls and G-Code is Preferred
- Experience with CNC Drills or conventional Drills is Preferred.
- Must be in good physical shape to be able to handle heavy machine chucks, wrenches, and other equipment.
- Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
