Coneybeare is Hiring a CMM Programmer (FT) Near Valencia, CA
- Hands-on inspection of complex aerospace parts and assemblies using available hand tools and gages.
- Develop and modify CMM programs.
- Create detailed inspection reports and/or instructions (AS9102, Final Inspection, Quality Work Instructions).
- Contribute to fixture design for inspection purposes.
- Perform daily in-process inspection walks and 1st article buy-off.
- Interface with government or customer source inspectors.
- Continuously improve new and existing processes.
- Provide feedback and solutions to the Engineering and Production team.
- Mentor entry level quality team members and shopfloor personnel.
- 3 years of complex aerospace inspection experience.
- High school diploma required.
- PC-DMIS or Calypso experience desired.
- Expert-level experience with all aspects of manual inspection (comparator, sine plate, height gage, large micrometers, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of special processes and aerospace specifications.
- Attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
- Well versed in modern quality and production technology.
- Comfortable working with tolerances <.0005.
- Experience with exotic or high-temp materials.
- Strong communication skills and working knowledge of MS Office products.
