- Operate a Class B commercial Tanker (Tank) to transport fuel and lubricants to specified destinations.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
- Prepare, receive, and provide documentation for deliveries and pick-ups to guarantee timely service.
- Maintain regular telephone contact with the dispatcher for delivery instructions and schedule updates.
- Keep accurate logs of travel and cargo in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform vehicle maintenance and ensure the truck's presentation meets company standards.
- Offload bulk lubricants into tanks, totes, or drums and record quantities as per custody logs.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or customer requests, assembling products on pallets.
- Store materials in the warehouse in an organized and accessible manner.
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, drum dollies, and pumps; connect hoses for liquid transfers.
- Follow safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with Tank and Air Brakes Endorsements
- High school diploma or GED and Basic mathematical skills.
- At least 6 years of Comercial Driver experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively present information.
- Certification and ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, drum dollies, and pumps.
- Ability to lift, carry, and manipulate items weighing more than one hundred pounds.
- Experience in bulk/tanker freight.
- Dependable, adaptable, and detail oriented.
- Ability to handle problems in standardized situations and adapt to frequent shifts in direction.
- Clean Record is Preferred but not required.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, balance, climb, and reach overhead.
- Ability to handle and manipulate items using hands and arms.
- Walk, sit, and stand for an extended period.
- Carry, push, pull, and lift more than 100 pounds.
- Engage in coherent speech and possess the capacity to hear loud and soft noises.
