What You’ll Do

As the Accounting Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies to all tasks and processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and address inquiries to and from bank.
• Match vendor invoice, bill of lading and purchasing order before entering the system and pay according to the terms of the vendors.
• Make operating expenses payment by due date and apply accrual and prepayment concept for the entries.
• Maintain, verify, and update general ledgers in the system.
• Assist Controller to prepare monthly balance sheets and profit and loss and other required reporting documents for Month-end closing.
• Assist Controller to gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Provide and prepare information in a timely manner for report generation.
• Filing of payment paperwork correctly according to vendor names or account names.
• Coordinate with tax CPA to file required tax forms with Federal, State, and local government agencies.
• Any other related tasks as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Bachelors in accounting or a related field.
• CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese s a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
