**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Finisher with paint and stain experience to join our team. The primary task would be to apply various finishes and protective coatings to Conestoga products that will include various cabinet components. Finishes are applied using a manual paint spray gun. All of the work will be performed in the Finishing area of the plant.

**Essential Job Functions:**

• Must be familiar with basic machine functions in order to perform specified tasks
• Sets up spray equipment and ensures all the materials are mixed correctly to get the right color and consistency according to various specifications
• Ensures surfaces to be covered are prepared correctly
• Ability to apply various coats of primer and basecoats
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the appropriate team leader
• Ensures the quality of the finished product meets the specifications of Conestoga standards of quality
• Ensures all equipment is working properly
• Works with team members to maximize productivity, quality, safety, delivery, and yield regularly meeting all metric expectations
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision
• Must be willing to transfer to other departments and positions based on manufacturing needs when directed by supervisor

**Qualifications:**

• Ability to read tape measure
• Follow written standardized job instructions and procedures
• Ability to use a variety of simple tools or measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of how the operation performed or equipment used in this job affects the product.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
