Position Summary:

A member of the Department of Emergency Medicine who has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for coordinating and directing patient care for a specific group of patients within the Department of Emergency Medicine. This team member has the qualifications and experience to care for patients of all ages from neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a program for professional Nurses
  • PA Nursing License that is active and in good standing
  • One year acute care nursing experience and/or equivalent two years emergency medicine experience (CST, LPN or Paramedic)
  • ACLS within one year
  • PALS within 3 years 
  • Actively pursuing CEN in 3 years
  • CPR Certification 
  • Trauma Nurse Course Preferred
  • ACLS preferred
