Condo High Rise Janitorial Position on Siesta Key

Needed immediately, a full time Janitorial Person for a beachfront condo. Also considering part-time employees as well.

$17 an hour to start -- Full-time position: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Monday to Friday

• After the 90-day probationary period, based on performance you may be eligible for the following:
• Salary may increase to $20.00/hour
• Paid holidays and 1-week paid vacation after 1 year
• No health benefits, but paid a monthly $350 insurance stipend (For Fulltime)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Facility Maintenance: Power-washing walls, walkways, carport roofs, pool deck, and pool furniture
• Daily emphasis is on cleaning and maintenance of the clubhouse lobby, kitchen, meeting room, cabana and pool restrooms
• Basic repairs such as replacing light bulbs, repairing gutters, screens, locks, drywall, and installing landscape timbers, etc.
• Painting as needed of the common areas
• Take direction from the Maintenance Specialist
• Rare but occasional overtime work evenings and weekends at time and a half for emergencies
• Cognitive Demands: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

REQUIRED:

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile
• Must currently live within 25 miles of Siesta Key
• 2 years or more of relevant experience – references will be checked
• You must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Proof of ability to work in the U.S.
• Must be fluent in English and punctual
