Concraft is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near Auburn, MI

Concraft is currently searching for a Construction Estimator to join our Team.

Our Estimator is responsible for estimating and selling reconstruction services in the fire and water restoration industry.

We strive to acquire talent that is motivated, goal-oriented, organized, and customer-focused. Someone who has great communication skills and a passion for delivering at the highest levels of quality.

This is a salary-plus-commission position. The salary will be determined based on the amount of previous experience and knowledge of the industry.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $90,000 yearly commission

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to accurately assess the scope of work.
  • Proficiently prepare estimates using Xactimate software to ensure precise and comprehensive cost evaluations.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, adjusters, and property managers to foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
  • Diligently document all activities and communication in company systems, utilizing tools such as MS Outlook, Xactimate, Dash, and Encircle.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with clients, employees, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project coordination.
  • Employ persuasive communication skills to articulate solutions and highlight their inherent value to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other Concraft departments to ensure the overall success and efficiency of projects.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Have a working knowledge of applicable building codes.
  • Strong computer skills are a must.
  • 2 plus years experience in Construction and/or Restoration estimating.
  • Excellent communication skills; both oral and written.
  • Provide superior customer-client experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to negotiate subcontractor's pricing/cost.
  • Must be able to be on-call after hours for emergency calls on a rotational basis.
  • Experience with Xactimate and DASH.
