Compensation :

$38,000 - $45,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• As a Cleaning Technician in Auburn Hills, MI, US, you will be responsible for managing inventory, cleaning, and packing household items and furniture.
• Capture clear pictures of items and enter them into specialized software for documentation purposes.
• Accurately differentiate between salvageable and non-salvageable items during the cleaning and packing process.
• Efficiently load and unload items from the truck to ensure smooth operations.
• Expertly disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed to facilitate the restoration process.
• Conduct deodorization procedures using tools like ozone and foggers to maintain a fresh environment.
• Meticulously document all items using software to track the restoration progress.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the cleaning and packing process to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment to excel in your responsibilities.
• Assist the Project Manager in leading the team to deliver high-quality and efficient work.
• Strictly adhere to all safety protocols on-site and promptly report any incidents to the Project Manager.
• Support in final preparations and walk-throughs with the Project Manager and the client for successful completion of the job.
• Keep the cleaning room contents organized and well-stocked for efficient workflow.
• Securely store personal property in storage crates to ensure a safe environment for all items.

Qualifications :

• Must reside within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
• Possess previous experience in content cleaning & restoration.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Provide an empathetic and caring demeanor to the customer in their time of need.
• Proven track record of arriving to work on time.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to obtain a chauffeur's license in 90 days.
• Possess good physical stamina to climb ladders and stairs.
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently; 100 pounds in a team lift.
• Able to climb ladders and work overhead.
• Able to work in different work environments (heat, cold, etc.)
• Demonstrate ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• IICRC FRST and / or CPT certification is preferred.
• Flexibility to work longer hours when needed.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
