Concordia Community Support Services is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a highly dependable, ambitious, self-motivated team player to join our Informatics Department. Informatics services all locations and divisions of care throughout Concordia’s Home and Community Based Services. The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for participating in the planning, development, training, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of Concordia Community Support Services Electronic Medical Records (EMR). The Informatics Specialist will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the EMR systems, streamlining processes and procedures, analyze changes and enhancements to application and determine their impact on existing systems. Driver must have valid driver’s license with vehicle insurance at the limits established by state lawDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for the Clinical Informatics Specialist:Creates and develops work flows, forms, and reportsAssists with onboarding with alignment of EMR work flowsMonitors and audits documentation for Quality AssuranceAssists in integration plans with hospitals, doctors and various other software.Supports clinical processes translating to meaningful use.Documents important information needed to support current software and hardware in a timely manner.Constantly reviews current processes to improve performance and increase efficiencies.Maintain excellent customer service to employees, vendors, patients and physiciansSupports staff and management in decision making and implementation of new processes and systems.Notifies software vendors of issues, create service order tickets and continue to follow up on issues until resolved.Works with the Education Team to collaborate with any operation/educational /informatics initiative.Assists in working with software vendors, testing, implementation, and software updates.Functions as a liaison for clinical and information technologyAble to present software changes and updates to groups of users and develop education material for staff reference.
