CONCORDIA INTERNATIONAL FORWARDING is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

CONCORDIA is an International Freight Forwarder dedicated to the concept that a service company such as ours must become an extension of the client's office. In the ever-changing economic world of today's marketplaces, flexibility is a must. The ability to adjust to the customer's product and needs is a key element of CONCORDIA's service philosophy and the direct link between the customer and the business is our dedicated employees.

We are looking for a dedicated, full-time hard working Inside Sales Representative who will thrive in a fast paced environment.

The Inside Sales position has overall responsibility for all sales accounts within the designated region.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for account management, account development, and inside sales.
  • Work closely with both outside sales representatives and the operations department.
  • Generate rate quotes for customers.
  • Achieve sales goals and meet key performance indicators set by upper management.
  • Create sales leads and active point of contacts over the phone and in person.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and be eager to learn.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve all client issues.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, but will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 2 years transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding experience with a background in inside sales.
  • Must have customer service and sales experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in building relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Must be able to work alongside other sales personnel and communicate effectively.
