Concord Property Management Inc. is a rapidly growing property management company located in Alhambra, California with a real estate and client portfolio of multifamily, commercial, mixed-use properties in urban areas of Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We manage properties that our parent real estate development company builds and owns, as well as properties held by our private clients. We are seeking an energetic and motivated professional to join our team and help our company grow into the future.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated and an accomplished professional who has experience and can assist in the management of commercial properties and multifamily properties. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive team player, with excellent follow-through and a positive attitude. Ability to multi-task and strong sense of urgency are REQUIRED.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree, or 1-3 years of experience working in property management
· Experience with contract management, lease interpretation, lease accounting, commercial real estate finance
· Exceptional customer-service skills
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
· Ability to identify and empathize with the information needs of the target audience and tailor the message appropriately
· Demonstrated ability to maintain successful business relations
· Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and properties simultaneously
· Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
· Problem analysis and conflict resolution skills
· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point
· Proficiency in AppFolio preferred
· Punctual and consistent time management skills both onsite and offsite with and without supervision
· Possession of valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with auto insurance for property visits in various locations in Los Angeles County and Orange County
Responsibilities
· Supports the Property Management Team in the oversight and management of commercial properties
· Develops and maintains a close working relationship with tenants through regular communications
· Develops bid specifications, solicits and reviews bids, conducts inspections and confers with service providers on a regular basis to ensure the highest level of service, efficiency and cost effectiveness
· Assists in enforcing terms and provisions of leases, such as use clauses, insurance requirements and payments (rent and miscellaneous billings)
· Monitors receivables for trends and delinquencies and investigates variances, involves other departments in developing a corrective plan and negotiates the plan with tenant
· Supports office and retail leasing and participates in coordination
· Conducts site tours, provides information, and attends meetings with prospective tenants as directed
· Assists with lease renewals, amendments, terminations, storage agreements and temporary license agreements
· Frequently gives walking tours of the building and grounds to tenants, vendors, contractors, and guests
· Performs other duties as it relates to the commercial real estate portfolio
