CAQH/Data Entry Specialist Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a CAQH/Data Entry Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and re-attestations of CAQH profiles for our organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in data entry, and excellent communication skills.

CAQH/Data Entry Specialist Responsibilities:

1. Create new CAQH profiles for providers within the organization.
2. Update and maintain existing CAQH profiles with accurate and up-to-date information.
3. Ensure all required documentation and credentials are uploaded and maintained in the CAQH system.
4. Monitor and track expiration dates for credentials and re-attestations, and initiate the reattestation process in a timely manner.
5. Communicate with providers to obtain any necessary information or documentation for CAQH profile completion and maintenance. 
6. Collaborate with internal teams such as credentialing, billing, and provider relations to ensure CAQH profiles meet organizational requirements.
7. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive provider information.
8. Keep abreast of changes to CAQH guidelines, policies, and procedures, and ensure compliance within the organization.
9. Provide support and assistance to providers with any questions or issues related to their CAQH profiles.
10. Generate reports and track metrics related to CAQH profile creation, maintenance, and re-attestations.

CAQH/Data Entry Specialist Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
2. Proven experience in data entry or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
3. Familiarity with CAQH ProView system and experience in creating, updating, and maintaining CAQH profiles is highly desirable.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with providers and internal stakeholders. 
6. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
7. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
10. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
