Role Summary

As the CTO product manager, your main objective will lead all aspects of this technology solution that streamlines the site selection and feasibility process for our pharmaceutical sponsors. This role will require you to be keenly aware of the external landscape of competitors and have a vision that continuously differentiates this product. You will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategy, working with the team to create detailed project plans, and overseeing the development process from concept to release. You will also be responsible for defining the product roadmap, identifying key milestones, and ensuring that the program meets the needs of the business and its clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of clinical trial operations and technology, as well as strong project management skills. You will also need to be an effective communicator, able to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure the success of the program. Ultimately, you will be responsible for delivering a product that helps sponsors to conduct clinical trials more efficiently, while also improving the patient experience and outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and roadmap for technology solutions that support clinical trial site selection
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and potential partnerships
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical trial sponsors & CROs
  • Develop and maintain product requirements and user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Provide product expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams like sales, marketing, and customer support
  • Actively manage product focused team, planning, resourcing, and budgeting resources
  • Develop a product associated AI roadmap for specific AI capabilities that are part of the core product plans
  • Must work directly with product and engineering teams as well as clinical informatics and data science
  • Collaborate with UX designers to create wireframes and prototypes that reflect user needs and preferences


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT product management
  • Deep insights into clinical development, clinical operations, and digital transformation for Life Sciences
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulations
  • Understanding of study feasibility, site selection, and study planning processes in Life Science
  • Proven track record of delivering successful software products on-time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of best-in-breed AI models and concepts and associated value proposition
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams e.g., software developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to travel as required – estimated once or twice a month
