The Program Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision and management of the program site to help promote the supportive tenant’s growth, safety, and the effective delivery of support services.

Position: Program SupervisorLocation: Bronx, NY (St. James Terrace)Schedule: Tuesday-Friday; 10am-6pm and Saturday; 8am-4pmSalary: $68,000/yr.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with the supervision and coordination of all direct care services, including staff scheduling, supervision and crisis intervention where needed (including 24/7 cell phone coverage)Oversee all intake procedures, including screening of applicants and monthly outcome reporting to HRA and DHS. Maintain program occupancy rates (>95%)Compliance with LIHTC regulations, including eligibility determination, annual certifications and any other reporting requirements, as necessaryMonitoring the supportive tenants’ charts for timely submission of paperwork, and qualitative review of progress notes, services plans and reviews, functional assessments and other required documentationCooperation with the Property Management department re: site maintenance and safety issues, as well as the accounting department to ensure monitoring of rental payment/ arrears and assisting special needs tenants with securing and maintaining entitlementsProvide staff training and development to ensure suitable implementation and evaluation of evidence-based best practices. Evaluate staff performance and promote professional growthConduct continuous needs assessment for program development and evaluation and quality assurance. Closely monitor health care outcomes of special needs tenantsCollaboration with local hospitals and healthcare/care coordination providers through committees, special projects, etc., as well as community outreachCoordination of Resident Advisory Council meetings and liaison with the CouncilOther tasks as assigned by the Senior Program DirectorRemain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainingsPositions Supervised: May supervise the following positions as determined by the Program Director: Counselors, Medication Manager, Service Coordinators, and Student Interns and Per Diem staff.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related mental health field with at least 3 years experience working in a similar setting and/or working with people with mental illnesses. The individual in this position must have good leadership and supervisory skills, good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make sound judgments regarding client care.
