Job Details
SalaryFrom $20 to $27 an hour, commensurate upon experience. Job Type Full-time. 7:00am - 3:30pm Mon-Fri. (overtime as needed)Application Window

Full Job Description

Concepts in Millwork, Inc. is looking to welcome Installers to our team!Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Perform all cabinet installations, with the ability to reason and to understand and carry out written, illustrated or oral instructions.
  • Examine installation site and study shop drawings and/or blueprints to determine specifications, instructions, materials, dimensions, position, tools and assembly methods as required.
  • Load and unload supplies, tools and/or equipment.
  • Cut materials and components to size, using power saws or hand saws.
  • Join component parts together or attaches components to structure or building, using screws bolts, nails and hand tools and power tools.
  • Have strong ability to solve problems regarding machining mistakes, unclear shop drawings, etc.
Qualifications Desired:
  • Cabinetry certification and/or three years' experience in related field.
  • Knowledge of carpentry/construction industry, including processes, procedures, equipment, tools and machinery; experience in Millwork/Casework installation, strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the safe operation of basic hand and power tools and millwork tools such as router, table saw, files, chop saw, sander etc.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, a good driving record and have the ability to travel nationally if needed.
  • Own identified tools and/or have the ability to obtain tools as required.

  2. Circular saw
  3. Jig saw
  4. Random orbit sander 5”

  7. Utility knife
  8. Extra saw blades (for all saws listed above)
  9. Extension cord 12 ga. or larger (minimum 100’)
  10. Measuring tape (3/4” x 25’)
  11. 2’ and 4’ level and or laser level
  12. Scribe and pencil
  13. Set of nail sets
  14. Cordless drill and or driver (extra batteries and charger)
  15. Hammer drill (prefer rotary hammer using SDS bits)
  16. Screw organizer
  17. Air compressor and air hose (unless you have airless nail guns)
  18. 18 ga. brad nailer (shoot 2” nails)
  19. 6” vice grip C-clamps (2 min)
  20. Hole saw kit (at least 2 ½”)
  21. Standard spade bit set
  22. Chalk line
  23. Caulking gun
  24. Stud finder (or magnets)
  25. Standard drill bit set
  26. Speed square
  27. Chisel set
  28. Wonder bar or small pry bar.
  29. Finish hammer
  30. Dead blow hammer
  31. Standard open end wrench set (1/4” to ¾”)
  32. 3/8” drive socket set (5/16” to 1”)
  33. Crescent wrench (12”)
  34. 4” ladder
  35. Two-wheel dolly
  36. Assortment of driver bits
  37. Standard Phillips screwdriver
  38. GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter)
