Concentric Corporation is currently seeking a talented Estimator (Steel/Structural) for our client in the Omaha area!
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in construction management or a related field.
- Preferably, experience in structural steel fabrication and/or erection.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Previous project management experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Review contract drawings and specifications to thoroughly understand project requirements.
- Coordinate with detailers to ensure accurate shop drawings and address any queries promptly.
- Manage material orders, job planning, and sequencing, while also reviewing shop drawings.
- Handle drawing revisions and communicate price changes to accounting personnel.
- Consult with current and prospective clients to assess their needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
- Establish and nurture positive, long-term relationships with vendors and clients.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Capability to read and interpret both structural and architectural drawings.
- Strong customer service skills, including effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of general construction practices.
