Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, prepare them for exams, and assist practitioners.
• Draw blood, handle paperwork for lab pick-up, and conduct urine drug screens.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of exam rooms, lab, and treatment areas.
• Assist in medical record maintenance and perform front office duties.
• Dispense medications as directed and maintain clinical equipment.
• Perform ancillary tests as ordered and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure accuracy in tasks and documentation, delivering compassionate patient care.
• Manage time effectively, adapt to changing needs, and prioritize tasks.
• Seek opportunities for training and development to enhance care quality.
• Communicate effectively, listen to client needs, and hold oneself accountable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current registration/license in the state where employed
• Successful completion of UDS, BAT, PFT, FIT, certification
• Customarily at least 1 year of experience in occupational health nursing or related field
