CONAGRA is Hiring an Operations Support Specialist II Near Russellville, AR

Job Summary

You will provide administrative, technical, and specialized support for the maintenance department and for the CSD Team in the Russellville facility. This includes creating documentation for Maintenance Apprenticeship Program, specialized training, New Hire Training, and the plant's Alchemy Training program. You will help us build process improvements throughout the facility and will report directly to the Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist.

Position Responsibilities

  • Update Scores from Amatrol to the SharePoint Spreadsheet [Apprenticeship Training 070422]; manage Semester Changes and prepare letters for review by Sr. Reliability Specialist.

  • Track Hands-On Training hours (in training room)

  • Update OJT hours (on floor training)

  • You will be the contact for Amatrol training and will help address issues and provide teammates with answers, or direction on where to get answers, and then follow up to ensure the issues are resolved.

  • Update Apprenticeship Training spreadsheet.

  • Attend Maintenance Roundtables and record meeting notes, provide to Maintenance Manager

  • Attend Apprenticeship and Skills Criteria Meetings and record meeting notes, provide to Sr. Reliability Specialist. Track individual team member information and provide at meetings.

  • Track all Maintenance training through Alchemy (ARC Flash, Fall Protection & MEWP’s, PIT, LOTO) in a database.

  • Be an active participant of the Apprenticeship Committee meetings, and record meeting minutes.

  • Create Alchemy training courses and monthly learning plans for approval.

  • Post Approved Learning Plans.

  • Communicate Alchemy training information and issues to Supervisors.

  • Our goal is to support new teammates as they join the team, and you will work with these new hires during orientation week (Contact person for all Maintenance New Hires.).

  • Provide information/enrollment to Amatrol and Rapids for Apprenticeship Program.

  • Help us with the New Hire Orientation program including the first day meeting to show new hires the Maintenance Dept.

  • Follow up with New Hires weekly (Maintenance new hires bi-weekly).

  • Provide a list of New Hires and their employee IDs to the supervisor and copy the Sr. Reliability Specialist.

  • You must be an active participant of the CSD Pillar and will take on other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Future State: Run SAP reports for review by Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialists.

Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • 1 or more years of administrative experience.

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft programs and have a working knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing environment.

  • Communicate with team members across the shifts.

  • Must be available to communicate with teammates across shifts.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to touch and feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
