CTG is seeking to fill a Warehouse Associate opening for our client in Portland, OR.

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: Ongoing contract

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Pay: Up to $29.00/hr

Overview:

We are seeking two experienced Warehouse Associates who will be responsible for a wide variety of warehouse activities relating to the receipt, inspection, storage, picking, distribution and basic set up of office equipment, supplies, and various goods. Mostly need help lifting machines off pallets, unboxing, removing transport/shipping materials, preparing for shop, recycling, and helping deliver on certain days. Pack a lunch, dressed appropriately to be in front of customers (Clean jeans are fine, sweatpants are not), ready to help and be a team player.

Duties:

• Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility
• Assist in receiving and shipping of company products, equipment and various goods
• Load and unload vehicles
• Prepare equipment for shipment and delivery
• Check all orders for accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment
• May assist drivers with deliveries and interact with customers as needed
• Assist with inventory as needed
• Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Load, unload, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations
• Provide excellent customer service
• Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment
• Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to networks

Skills & Experience:

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience using smartphone, tablet and/or laptop
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications and the Internet
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and regularly lift 50-70 pounds
• Able to safely maneuver oversized and overweight equipment
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlled

Education:

• Minimum High school diploma or GED 

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
