Project Coordinator
Location Flexible: Onsite in Wheaton, IL or Remote Nationwide
CSI is looking for a Project Coordinator to help our iMIS EMS implementation team deliver projects on time, under budget, and with high
quality results.

The Project Coordinator role at CSI works closely with CSI Project Managers to ensure the success of CSI’s large enterprise projects. The
Project Coordinator prepares comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. The Project
Coordinator helps make sure all team members and departments have what is needed to meet the deadlines and milestones set by the
project manager. To do this, the Project Coordinator must be familiar with every aspect of the project, including all short and long-term
goals, the entire project calendar, and budgeting details.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for leading the project requirements phase of our enterprise projects, and then moving on to
coordination of the Testing phases of the project. The Project Coordinator will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk
management, financial management, as well as other duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling task distribution and
tracking. To succeed in this role, the Project Coordinator should have excellent time management and communication skills and should be
adept at project management tools enabling clear visibility into the project’s critical path. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with
clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines across multiple concurrent projects of varying sizes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information.
  • Drive the Discovery process by liaising with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Effectively coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
  • Facilitate & lead client meetings as necessary.
  • Break work efforts into doable actions and set timeframes.
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
  • Help prepare budgets.
  • Analyze risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor project progress and appropriately identify and handle issues that arise.
  • Identify and facilitate Change Management needs.
  • Work with the Project Manager and Project Team to eliminate blockers.
  • Use project management tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Maintain a flexible, positive attitude when troubleshooting client issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably in a technical setting.
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
  • Be detail-oriented, with solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Strong client-facing communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance.
  • Experience working in/with a PMO where standardization is a key focus.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools.
  • Experience in software implementation projects preferred.
  • Is a self-starter, helps others, pitches in, and contributes.
  • Experience with membership or non-profit associations a plus.
  • Experience with AMS tools a plus.
