CAI is seeking a Product Specialist for a client of ours. This is a fully on-site opportunity. Our client is based in Newark, DE.
The Medicaid Product Specialist will provide data entry of Medicaid Renewal applications, ensuring a quality application is entered into the eligibility system.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Access available computer inquiry systems to obtain necessary verifications.
Analyze the applicant's financial data, and input calculations into eligibility system.
Conduct interviews to obtain and exchange general and sensitive information for the purpose of determining eligibility.
Onboard new clients with an "intake" questionnaire to assess an applicant's eligibility for Medicaid benefits.
Learn, understand, and research both federal and state Medicaid regulations.
Follow the applicant's state or county eligibility guidelines.
Work closely with the client to securely collect application documents via digital files (pdf, jpg, etc.).
Communicate directly with State Service Centers and caseworkers to confirm policies and ensure the application meet eligibility guidelines.
Promptly respond to client questions or concerns.
Track and notate all case management details using eligibility system.
Follow company data security policies to ensure client information is secure.
Attend weekly staff meetings to stay informed about processes and procedures.
Perform added case management responsibilities as needed.
Attend comprehensive training. You will begin with a lighter caseload and work up to the maximum required caseload as your experience develops.
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be fluent in English.
Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility is preferred.
Call Center experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Ability to follow instructions and respond to direction from Team Managers.
Responsible and independent "initiative-taker" who keeps commitments to deadlines.
Comfortable with being able to complete a high volume of work when necessary to meet deadlines.
Ability to complete tasks on time or notifies the manager with an alternate plan.

Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to analyze financial calculations.
Ability to problem solve.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage your caseload and tasks effectively.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.
