Medical Assistant / Surgery Scheduler

• Medical Assistant responsibilities.
• Schedule surgeries and provide instructions to patients needing surgery.
• Familiar with the use of EMR systems (eClinicalWorks).
• Medical scribing during patient visits.
• Complete chart notes through EMR.
• Assist with front office and back-office duties as needed.
• Medical coding and billing as needed.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, referrals, prior authorizations, collect copays as needed
• Bilingual is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
