Title: Medical Receptionist/Scheduler Location: 2012 FM 407, Ste 100 Highland Village, TX 75077 Duration: 12 weeks, Possible Extension Shift: (Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - 8 Hours) Nature of Job: Onsite
Position SummaryExperience with EPIC is preferred
Medical/Front Desk Experience Strongly Preferred.We are looking to hire a medical receptionist with excellent organizational and administrative skills. Medical receptionists must be compassionate and discrete with superb time management and record-keeping skills.
To ensure success, medical receptionists should be confident and professional administrators with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of the healthcare facility. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient emergencies.
ResponsibilitiesWill be working patient lists to schedule patients for follow-up visits. Will need to update demographics, insurance, etc.
Must have medical Front office experience
Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
Maintained business inventory such as checking supplies, scheduling equipment, and maintenance repairs.
Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities.
Assist with admissions/treatment as per agreed protocols.
Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision.
Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.
