Cooks oversee the daily operation of the kitchen, including placing orders, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and following all food safety guidelines. This position is best suited to someone who is highly organized, able to work independently, and has previous kitchen experience. This particular Cook position is for a part-time, weekend role at our Two Rivers Landing facility in Yakima. Two Rivers Landing is an evaluation and treatment facility for teens aged 11-17 who are experiencing a crisis. The program provides crisis stabilization, evaluation, and treatment for up to sixteen youth and utilizes an established trauma-informed, evidence-based model of care. An integrated team of professionals provides individualized care and a comprehensive discharge plan that emphasizes community resources and family support. The Cook position has a regular weekly shift of Saturday and Sunday 9am-6pm for a total of 16 hours per week. Since this is a part-time role, it is not eligible for most employment benefits.
