Located in the heart of north Dallas, Complex Vein and Vascular Specialists is a cutting-edge medical practice seeking a dedicated Medical Front Office Coordinator to join our growing team. Delivering exceptional care and changing our patients’ lives for the better is what we’re all about.
**Responsibilities:**
- Welcome patients with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in.
- Efficiently manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
- Conduct insurance verifications and obtain necessary authorizations and referrals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Schedule appointments and procedures with precision, optimizing the surgeon's schedule for maximum efficiency.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and accuracy.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Perform various administrative duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the office.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front desk role within a physician's office.
- Strong working knowledge of insurance coverages and billing processes.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; proficiency with E-Clinical Works preferred.
- Experience with basic desktop software including Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not necessary
