Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform month-end close; import data into financial software
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll taxes (940, 941, NYS45)
- Prepare and manage annual audits
- Manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
- Communicate financial metrics to CFO
- Provide support to AR, AP and payroll departments
- Analyzing consolidated expense data
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or controller role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas required
- Experience in a healthcare organization preferred
- CPA certification a plus but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team
