We are looking for our next CLINICAL HERO. As a Clinical Coordinator at Complete Care, you will play an important part in helping patients get the care they need. If you are looking to join a great work environment, with friendly outgoing co-workers then keep reading.
The Clinical Coordinator will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team at Complete Care. The Clinical Coordinator will provide comprehensive care to patients who present with a wide variety of illnesses and injuries. This position will require a high degree of critical thinking and clinical expertise in working with urgent and emergency clinical presentations.
Serves as point of contact for lab at the ER assigned and assists the physician/provider in carrying out physician/provider delegated orders and tasks regarding labs. You are expected to have impeccable customer service skills, be willing to make post discharge phone calls, conduct documentation reviews, and feed-off positive patient reviews. POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Graduate from an accredited RN program required. Current RN license in nursing in the state of Texas required.
  • BSN degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 2-5 years leadership experience preferably in an ER setting.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required.
  • Completion of courses in nursing or healthcare administration and human resource administration preferred.
  • Is able to establish a personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Maintains nursing guidelines. Maintains nursing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Assures quality of care by developing and interpreting facility and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care; enforcing adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements and to other governing agency regulations; measuring health outcomes against standards; making or recommending adjustments. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training nurses and auxiliary staff.
  • Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results.
  • Maintains staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees and escalating to Director of Nursing and Human Resources as appropriate; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing support to patients, friends, and families.
