Now Hiring: Staffing Coordinator
Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate shifts for nursing and support staff based on facility needs and employee availability.
- Maintain accurate records of employee schedules, time-off requests, and shift changes.
- Collaborate with department managers to assess staffing requirements and address any staffing shortages.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new staff members as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and facility policies related to staffing and scheduling.
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns related to scheduling and staffing.
- Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly staffing reports to management.
Staffing Coordinator Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Staffing Coordinator, Scheduler, or similar role in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care facility.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
