Job Summary

As part of Healthcare Digital, a division within Compass Digital, the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will work with the Compass Healthcare business to drive the digital future in healthcare - specifically around Patient, Healthcare Staff, Long-term care and Hospital Retail experiences. Quality at Healthcare Digital is at the forefront of our products, and we are looking for a self-driven, passionate QA Test Automation Engineer to join our Healthcare Digital team. On this team you will help drive innovation, define and roll out QA best practices working with Development Leadership to ensure high quality of critical Healthcare products that support the patient care eco system across the country.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a combination of strong technology & digital leadership experience, as well as business experience preferably in the healthcare and foodservices industries.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, define and drive implementation of test automation framework
• Define, standardize and streamline Test Plan/ Test Case management strategies
• Guide QA leads / engineers in the development teams to implement standards for test plans and automation framework
• Perform proof of technology to evaluate appropriate tools and approach for test automation for different areas including application testing, API and backend.
• Evaluate and define test data life cycle strategy
• Define standards around non-functional aspects of applications like scalability and performance and help development teams achieve it
• Serve as lead for the Quality Community of practice, coaching and mentoring Quality Analysts
• Continue learning and sharing knowledge with the rest of Healthcare Digital team over small training sessions
• Collaborate with peers on the architecture scrum team to innovate and prove out new approaches

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as a quality lead or quality automation engineer
• Extensive hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Expertise in test automation tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage agile methodologies partnering with stakeholders and product team to ensure high quality solutions.
• Proficient in SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using a test case management tool (Preferably ADO Test Plans)
• Experience working in Agile environment with Agile tools (Preferably ADO)
• BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline
