Position Summary
The idealcandidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community and have adesire and ability to work with a diverse population. This is a part-time, student employmentposition with no benefits. Provideexcellent customer service in a fast paced office, and perform clerical dutiesas assigned.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Greet visitors and current, former, and prospective students who visit the Admissions Office; help determine their needs and refer to the appropriate person/department.
Use Fireworks and Extinguisher CRM tools to better assist visitors.
Host campus tours for prospective students.
Use Microsoft Teams group chat to collaborate with Admissions staff members in order to assist in-office visitors with their inquiries.
Check the Admissions voicemail twice daily at the beginning and end of work shifts.
Outreach to applicants by phone regarding their application status and next steps toward enrollment.
Assist with scanning or filing of student records.
Provide Admissions Office with support during large scale events, such as fall and spring Open House and SOAR (Student Orientation, Advising, Registration).
Assemble Admissions’ hard copy communications and information packets.
