Who We Are Looking For:

A servant leader who will support the team in driving our Mission within the store. A leader who can be relied upon, work well with others, engage with respect and professionalism, and continue our exceptional tradition of serving the public and our non-profit partners through teamwork and cooperation. You will provide oversight for the full range operation activities, resulting in positive experience for both employees and customers.

What you’ll need to win:

• Model and teach servant leadership and CommunityAid's 12 Core Behaviors
• Participate in daily meetings to determine store needs and adjust as necessary
• Ability to work hands on as well as oversee others
• Work closely with all departments to adjust backroom processing to meet sales floor needs
• Engage new employees through training, one-on-one discussions, and modeling our culture behaviors
• Assist store management by ensuring compliance to all state and federal laws and regulations
• Ensure CommunityAid policies and procedures are clearly communicated and followed

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree related to business management preferred
• Minimum of one-year experience in a supervisory role within a comparable retail or service-oriented business preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, professional work environment
• Available to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Must have a valid Driver’s License

CommunityAid is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded on the mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors by accepting donations to create quality jobs, offering an affordable shopping experience, and supporting non-profit partners serving our local community. We employ over 400 employees across our 6 Central Pennsylvania thrift stores and have created a partner network of over 500 non-profit organizations. Since 2009, we have donated over $20million to our non-profit partners in order to support these organizations in growing, supporting, and fostering the communities in which they provide services such as those suffering from food insecurity, basic needs, and housing.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Selinsgrove, PA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
