Primary Duties The primary responsibility of the Director of Children's and Youth Ministries is to provide a quality Christian education experience for our children and youth from birth through high school. The Director will meet at least monthly with the Children's and Youth volunteer ministry teams to plan and coordinate classes, programs and activities. Good Communication with the church community using mail, email, social media, phone, text and church newsletter is a must. Attend church meetings. Order curriculum, resources and supplies as needed. Keep track of Children's and Youth expendures and prepare a yearly budget. Oversees the staffing of the Children's Nursery ages 0-3.
Skills A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher. Willingness to learn other software as required.
Work Experience. Jobs working with children and youth. Experience in a church setting is a plus. This is part time position and Director must be available to work Sunday's.
