Community Tavern is seeking a food runner / busser for 3-4 shifts per week. Shifts start at either 3pm or 5pm, so you need to be available for either time.
This position requires being trained on carryout, which includes inputting orders into a POS, taking phone orders and organizing / packing orders while balancing overall food running duties.
This means you need to have excellent communication skills and provide genuine and knowledgeable hospitality over the phone.
You will need to have a full understanding of our food menu and be able to describe dishes in detail and handle questions regarding dietary restrictions and allergies.
We want dependable, hard working, experienced people with outgoing personalities who work great as part of a team that can learn the food, multi-task and deliver impeccable service.
This position requires being able to multi-task extremely well, and your duties would include bussing, watering tables, resetting tables, restocking ice, food running and carryout orders.
You will have to display impeccable customer service and organizational skills. We are a very tight-knit team with a great culture.
This is a great atmosphere to work in, and there is potential for growth / cross-training down the road.
