Job Requirement

A Program Manager, the primary job responsibility is, “helping persons with disabilities to find happiness in their own homes, in their personal relationships and as contributing members of their community.” Work includes assisting each person to live in a home of their own, develop and support meaningful relationships and becoming a part of and contribute to their community. This position helps achieve CSI’s mission by providing day-to-day support, teaching, coaching and supervision. The Program Manager is expected to think independently; to ensure people are supported in a manner that conforms to all applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations and standards.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Supervise the Assistant Manager and the Direct Support Professionals
Assistant Manager supervise Direct support Professionals
Maintain compliance with CT DDS Licensure Standards
Schedule, guide and evaluate staff and provide progressive corrective actions as required
Ensure all staff training and development programs are maintained
Oversee maintenance of a person’s home, furnishings, equipment and vehicle
Oversee the proper accounting of CSI resources and funds of the persons supported
Attend formal Leadership Trainings as requested by the Executive Director or their designee
Maintain optimal communication and cooperation with the team, family, guardians and other stakeholders
Share on-call responsibilities with the Assistant Manager.
Proficiency in MS Office software and web based application skills
Perform other duties as described in the CSI Job Description
