We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team of caring professionals and provide services for children in our Pre-School.

School Calendar - 32 1/2hr work week plus 6-week summer program!!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop curriculum content in conjunction with the Director and teaching staff.

Develop weekly lesson plans in conjunction with curriculum.

Evaluate children annually or as requested by the Director.

Develop and implement individual educational plans (goals) for each student.

Assist Director in selection of para-professional staff relative to preschool program.

Implementation of recommendations and instructions given by Director.

Attend annual CPSE and CSE meeting when required.

Pay Rate: $54,000 - $58,000 annually Full-Time

Qualifications

M.S.in Education and have NYS Department of Education Certification in working with students with Disabilities (Birth to Grade 2).
