Community Resource Network of Florida Inc. is Hiring a Transportation Fleet Manager Near Fort Myers, FL

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC provides services to Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities throughout the state of Florida.
Founded in 2009, we continue to focus on helping those we serve to live their best lives and meet their personal goals. 
We are currently hiring for a Transportation Fleet manager who will oversee the driver team, operations and fleet management of the CRN vehicles.
This is an in-person position located in Lee County, Florida. 
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES OF POSITION
Provides operational responsibility and oversight of the Transportation department. Primary responsibility is ensuring safety of passengers and drivers, while maintaining quality service. ROLE OF THE TRANSPORTATION MANAGERThe Transportation Manager oversees, performs, and coordinates all activities and processes of the Transportation department. The Transportation Manager is accountable for maintaining quality operations and services of the Transportation Department while ensuring passenger safety. It is the responsibility of the Transportation Coordinator to ensure the responsibilities and accountability of all direct reports are defined and understood. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Transportation Department Management

  • Provides direct supervision over the Transportation department. 
  • Manage Transportation Coordinators, Drivers and other team members involved with service delivery. 
  • Ensure and schedule regular vehicle maintenance appointments, cleaning and van repairs as needed. 
  • Coordinate and manage all transportation routes. 
  • Enroll new clients into the Transportation program. 
  • Utilize on-board surveillance system for accuracy and verification as needed. 
  • Track monthly expense reports for entire fleet. 
  • Ensure accuracy of attendance into the system 
  • Monitor and maintain billing accuracy as liaison with billing department for all payers. 
  • Submit General Event Reports and State incident reports, if required, for any incidents involving transportation. 
  • File and follow up with all insurance claims for transportation vans. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems related to Transportation department. 
  • Renew insurance and registration for all vans in collaboration with VCG (insurance). 
  • Provide assistance in the planning, research and development, and implementation of department policies and procedures. 
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal and state guidelines, and company and departmental policies and procedures. 
 2.  Operations
  • Schedule regular vehicle maintenance appointments, cleaning and repairs as needed.
  • Monitor vehicle surveillance system for accuracy daily to ensure passenger.
  • Provide back-up driving support for all routes when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures.
  • Provide Transportation quotes to potential Private Pay clients.
  • Maintain attendance to ensure accurate billing.
  • Audit services provided against billing.
  • Work in collaboration to resolve billing errors, discrepancies, or denials.
  • Monitor authorization utilization and ensure proper authorization in place.
  • Collaborate with WSC and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of service when there is a service authorization issue.
3. Staff Oversight
  • Conducts candidate screening, interviewing and selection per employment mandates.
  • On-boards new drivers; trains on all systems and processes
  • Train and manage Transportation personnel in office and on route.
  • Train and monitor team use of the appropriate systems.
  • Administer the performance management system through regular individual performance appraisals.
  • Respond to requests for assistance by troubleshooting and providing solutions to drive-related problems.
  • Assess training needs and facilitate to ensure maximum effectiveness and safety.
  • Educate Transportation personnel on new policies and/or policy changes.
  • Review video surveillance and investigate operational complaints.
  • Perform accident investigations as needed.
  • Review and verify direct reports timesheets on a weekly basis ensuring accuracy.
  • Manage direct reports time and attendance.
4. Administration and Compliance
  • Obtain all required documentation for transportation services.
  • Maintain documentation in the required systems.
  • Submit all documents requests by WSC’s.
  • Monitor Transportation client’s service authorization units quarterly.
  • Order and distribute supplies needed in vehicles. IE: Cleaning supplies, first aid kits, fire extinguishers.
  • Make updates to vehicle insurance. IE: adding/removing drivers and vehicles.
  • Maintain required information in the APD designated system to ensure Qlarant compliance for the provision of transportation services.

EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years in management or supervisory role Minimum 1 year experience in a direct customer service position Minimum 1 year in a dispatching or logistics role Prior experience working with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, a plus.QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Valid automobile insurance. No alcohol or drug citations
  • Must pass Level II Background screening.
  • Must pass a drug screen.
  • Must meet company driving record guidelines.
  • Bi-lingual, English, and Spanish preferred.
