Job Summary:
CPSFL has an exciting opportunity for an Adult Psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist is responsible for providing psychiatric services to adults and their in Community Partners of South Florida clinic and/or virtual via telehealth. The Psychiatrist will consult with therapist, wraparound facilitator, and clinical team, as needed. The Adult Psychiatrist is responsible for 10 hours of scheduled services, including psychiatric evaluation and medication management, per week.

Qualifications:

• M.D. Board Certified in Psychiatry licensed in the State of Florida.
• At least 2 years of experience working with adults and families with medical/physical, psychological, behavioral, and/or psychosocial issues.
• Ability to acquire a Medicaid clearance through the AHCA portal or already have one.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team and to be flexible.
• Understanding of the stages of childhood growth and development.
• Understanding of childhood illnesses and developmental issues.
• Demonstrate cultural competence and awareness of the socio-cultural characteristics of clients served.
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Compensation:

• $170/hr
• Position starts with 10 hours a week. Opportunity for this to increase during the life of the contract.
