Community Memorial Health System is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN), Oncology - PT Nights Near Ventura, CA

Compensation

Salary Range: $45.76 - $72.20 / hr

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range. Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provides general nursing care to patients in hospital by performing the following duties; effectively plan and communicate patient and family education. Participates in unit based educational activities. Accurate and timely documentation consistent with practice and hospital policy. Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and comprehension. RN I requires no experience. RN II requires six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent and/or has been deemed competent by the department manager.

Qualifications

Required:

    Current CA RN License
  • Current BLS Certified
  • Six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent (RN II)

Preferred:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Previous Med/Surg experience and six (6) months acute care experience
  • ACLS Certification
  • Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
