Position Overview:
Provides general nursing care to patients in hospital by performing the following duties; effectively plan and communicate patient and family education. Participates in unit based educational activities. Accurate and timely documentation consistent with practice and hospital policy. Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and comprehension. RN I requires no experience. RN II requires six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent and/or has been deemed competent by the department manager.
